10L Rotary evaporator is mainly used for concentration, crystallization, drying, separation and solvent recovery in pharmaceutical, chemical and biopharmaceutical industries. The principle is to heat at a constant temperature under vacuum conditions to make the rotary bottle rotate at a constant speed, and the material forms a large-area film on the wall of the bottle and evaporates. The solvent vapor is cooled by the glass condenser and recovered in the collection bottle, which greatly improves the evaporation efficiency. It is especially suitable for the concentration and purification of biological products that are easy to decompose and denature at high temperature.
The 10L rotary evaporator is especially suitable for condensation, crystallization, separation, recovery, etc. of heat-sensitive substances. It is one of the necessary basic instruments for chemical, pharmaceutical, colleges and scientific research laboratories.
Compared with atmospheric distillation, the evaporation speed is faster under negative pressure. If some samples cannot withstand high temperature, it can also be carried out at normal temperature. Rotary evaporators are equipped with vacuum pumps to create negative pressure during operation.
Parts of 10L Rotary Evaporator:
1. Vacuum device
You must know that the vacuum device can greatly reduce the overall air pressure, which is conducive to the normal progress of the experiment.
2. Fluid heating pot
The main function of such accessories on the distillation apparatus is to heat the sample, and then control the required temperature better to achieve the required temperature for use.
3. Condenser tube
The main purpose of use: to condense the samples for easy collection.
4. Rotary motor
The operation of the rotating motor needs to be driven by electricity, and the operation of the motor requires uniform speed operation, so that the distillation flask is driven to rotate at a uniform speed. It should be said that this type of rotation is more in line with the requirements of various experiments.
5. Evaporation glass tube
Here we mainly understand the two important functions of the evaporation glass tube. On the one hand, the evaporation glass tube can achieve the purpose of supporting and protecting when the sample is rotated. Another function is that the political and legal glass tube can realize the vacuum device to extract the sample.
How to use the 10L rotary evaporator:
1. Height adjustment: manual lifting, turn the hand wheel on the top of the machine column, clockwise to ascend, reverse to descend. Electric lifting, touch the up button to raise the host, and touch the down button to lower the host.
2. There are two external connectors on the condenser for cooling water connection, one end is connected to the water inlet, and the other end is connected to the outlet water. Generally, tap water is connected. The lower the temperature of the condensed water, the better the effect. The upper port is equipped with a vacuum joint, which is connected to the vacuum pump leather tube for vacuuming.
3. Before turning on the machine, turn the speed control knob to the left to the minimum, press the power switch to light up the indicator light, and then slowly turn it to the right to the required speed. Generally, the large evaporation bottle is used for medium and low speeds, and the solution with high viscosity uses a lower speed. The flask is the standard interface No. 24, and there are two kinds of 500ml and 1000ml flasks attached. The solution volume is generally not more than 50%.
4. When using, depressurize first, and then start the motor to rotate the distillation flask. At the end, stop the motor first, and then open the atmosphere to prevent the distillation flask from falling off during rotation.

10. Rocker button: press the upper part of the rocker to raise the host, and press the lower part of the rocker to lower the host.
11. Screw cap with ring: forward rotation automatically fastens the rotary bottle, and reverse rotation quickly pushes and releases the rotary bottle. ·Knob for stepless speed regulation.
12. When the host adjusts the angle: loosen or lock the knob.
